TechNine Interesting.. I always knew about the different naming schemes for Canada and US but I didn't know that they would withhold full models.

Sometimes there's a divide in what Canada and the U.S. gets and with some new segments coming up, this has been happening a bit more. Audi just might need time to see if its worth to sell in Canada.

Alpha I heard that Canadians won't be getting it which might be a bad move for Audi since Canada is sort of like the European market that this does well in. Unless they already see good sales with products like the Q3, in that case it would make sense.

Audi Q2 Highlights

Audiís latest addition to the Q family is the smallest one yet and it serves as the automakerís entry-level SUV. AutoExpress has taken it upon themselves to highlight the compact SUVís many features.

Standing out in Audiís range, the Q2ís design is aimed at younger buyers; distinctive with bold and sharp lines. New arrow-shaped LED headlamps works in unison with that recognizable Audi octagonal grille and a high shoulder line coupled with a gradually sloping roof is reminiscent of the Range Rover Evoque.

Matching its exterior is an interior thatís going to be a hit with tech-savvy younger drivers. Standard equipment includes a seven-inch infotainment screen that is controlled a rotary dial and buttons. Thereís also an optional Audi virtual cockpit and head-up display for those who are interested.

At 4.19 meters long, just 4.7 inches shorter than the A3 hatchback on which it's based, taller riders may find their knees close to the front seatbacks or their heads close to the roof. But the Q2ís compact size makes it easy to maneuver around traffic and park into every tightening parking spaces. Thereís also ample cargo space, which comes in at 405-litres or 1,050-litres if the rear seats are folded down flat.

Of course, the star of the show are its five engine options: a 1.0-litre three-cylinder TFSI, a 1.4-litre TFSI motor, a 2.0-litre turbo motor, 1.6 TDI diesel and a 2.0-litre diesel engine.
