2018 Audi RS5 Spied

Looks like the 2018 Audi RS5 test mule has been spied. Dressed with S5 camo badges like it's fooling anyone Looks really nice though.

The belly of the beast is home to a twin-turbo 3.0-liter V6 powerplant, which is expected to produce more than 450 horsepower. The strong point of the 2018 Audi RS5 Coupe, however, can't be found under the hood. Instead, the four-ringed automaker will bet it all on a go-faster version of quattro AWD and the MLB Evo platform. The latter is fundamental in this application because it is a stiffer vehicle architecture than the one it replaces and, in the case of the A5 Coupe, it sheds curb weight by as much as 132.3 pounds (60 kg).

It's just crazy how good it looks in these pictures alone and it's showing the RS5 in one of the colors that do little for it. Now someone just needs to get creative with it, maybe add some centenario cues?

I really like the hood ridges and the dual exhaust. give it a sporty look but the side could use something, not quite sure what.

Speaking about the side, one thing I would like to see is the rear roof line where it slopes down is to be smoother and more seamless rather than what we get which is more of a hunch.

A smoother slope on the rear end would be nice. I wonder what they're going to do with the fender flares though.

The rear looks like an average Audi, nothing really special about it and only the front facia is sport on the design. Needs a few more pinched metal areas.

They've always been a lot more streamline though, nothing with too many aggressive lines or anything like that. I kinda like how smooth and subtle they are.

Good point, it's all in the details much like what we see going on with the headlights and tail lights. Very classy and impactful once you know what's going on with its segment, that's when you can really appreciate it.

That was the thing I've always loved about Audi's. From the time you see they're headlights and tail lights, you knew it's an Audi. They've always had that going for them.
